A Wild Spotter & Invasive Species Ambassador Overview

Cameron Bailey Oldham, a citizen science volunteer, became a Wild Spotter Invasive Species Ambassador with the Class of 2025. She adopted Wild Spotter, an app that tracks invasive species in America's wild places (or simply a place that you care about), at the Huntsville Botanical Garden, where she serves as the Cultivated Areas Supervisor. The app allows users to report invasive species observations within a specific geographic area (wild place), which are then reviewed and published to EDDMapS. Reports provide information to protect and maintain a wild place from the threat of invasive species.
