Turkish Tobacco (Denizli)
You will be watching a presentation on seedling production and tobacco diseases and pests in Turkish-type tobaccos produced in Denizli.
The leaf tobaccos originating from Izmir and produced in Denizli belong to the oriental tobacco class. These tobaccos are in the group of tobaccos with high aromatic and quality characteristics. Some of the tobacco produced in the Aegean Region is used in the domestic cigarette industry, while the rest is exported. The reducing carbohydrates, polyphenols, resins, and organic acids in our tobaccos neutralize the burning effect and taste of nicotine during combustion, giving the smoke a refined quality. They positively affect the taste, smell, and aroma of tobacco products.
